Version 2.0 released!


So, I never actually published the devlog for the update I made some months ago. So here it is:

There are many significant changes:

- The game has been divided into 2 sections, one puzzle each.
- Enemy shadows have been removed. Instead now there is one enemy stalking you through the second section with different mechanics.
- Graphics have been improved. Assets have been replaced with higher-fidelity versions.
- Added more texts and descriptions. There is now 2 additional cutscenes. The ending is slightly different.
- Fixed most bugs. Previous version was too buggy.

Still, this version has not been tested, so I expect issues to show up. Please report any issues.

Since this game was originally made for a game jam, the project is ridden with sloppy code and broken stuff. I tried my best to fix what I could without redoing everything from scratch. There are several reasons why the update took so long, but mostly because I've been working on it on my spare time. The original version had some questionable design choices that I could not solve within the jam period, and I still do not believe the game is perfect by any means, but I believe it's way better. Please let me know your thoughts!
